Jade brings 25 years of executive management and innovative solution building in the recruiting and training industry to Talent Technology. As a cofounder and CEO, Jade has worked for the past 11 years to build Talent Technology into one of the largest HR software solution providers in the industry, starting with the introduction of HireDesk Applicant Tracking System, followed by Resume Mirror (now Talemetry Apply and Match) and most recently the Talemetry talent generation suite.
“I believe the way we do recruiting today keeps us from focusing on the things we as recruiters are best at: talking to people, selling them on our companies, and placing great candidates. As a former recruiter, and having spent 12 years building Talent Technology, I can’t help but be excited about the many ways we can make the process of sourcing talent more efficient for not only the recruiter, but the candidate. If we can help just one more organization efficiently locate candidates for their positions, than I’m excited. This is what gets me up in the morning!" says Jade.
Prior to Talent Technology, Jade was an executive search consultant and the founder of TeleSkill Human Resource Solutions, a telecommunications recruitment firm. He cofounded Canada's 'Top 40 Under 40' business awards and was the executive director of the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs (ACE), an international organization dedicated to helping university students start businesses. Jade currently serves on the International and Vancouver Board of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO).

Paul Lancaster has over 25 years of experience in growth technology organizations including TSX and NASDAQ financings, strategic partner negotiations, strategy development, internal and external financial reporting, and corporate communications.
“I’ve spent years looking at both the hard and soft costs of human capital both the cost of finding the right candidates and the impact on a business of having a good hire vs. a bad hire. Being able to introduce cost and performance efficiencies into what for many organizations is their single greatest cost, their workforce, attracts me. When I think that just one of our modules, Talemetry Match, can reduce the hard cost of recruiting by 50% alone, I know that Talent Technology can really make a difference, not only in people’s lives, but in the way organizations run," says Paul.
Paul’s prior experience includes over 12 years at Ballard Power Systems including roles as Vice President, Corporate Development and Vice President, Finance. There he was involved in raising over $1 billion from public and strategic investors and was part of the negotiating team for all of Ballard's strategic relations with companies such as Daimler-Benz AG, Ford Motor Company, Ebara Corporation, and Alstom SA.

Tim Lang brings over 18 years of international experience in product management, business development, partnering, software engineering, marketing and management for small and large corporations.
“I believe that the HR industry has been overlooked by technology automation advancements. When I think about how organizations go about finding, attracting and engaging candidates and compare it to the incredible improvements technology has made to the way we manage businesses today, I can’t help but get excited about Talent Technology. In the past decade we have seen an explosion of point solutions for everything from talent management, to background checking, to online compensation. But no one has addressed the end-to-end problem of candidate sourcing: how to you find the best candidates? How do you attract them to your organization? How do you engage with them? At Talent Technology, I see an opportunity to introduce a complete, end-to-end suite of tools that seamlessly work together to improve the speed, effectiveness and quality of hiring candidates. I think is an interesting problem to solve,” says Tim.
Prior to joining Talent Technology, Tim was VP of Product (Reporting and Visualization product lines) at SAP AG, where he was responsible for software engineering, software testing and product management. He has also been responsible for Product Management across the Business Intelligence business (SAP Business Objects). After the acquisition of Business Objects by SAP, he drove numerous strategic projects including the strategic product partnering and product management for the Business Objects Business Intelligence product line. Prior to Business Objects, Tim headed up Product Development at Crystal Decisions during the transformation of Crystal Decisions from a desktop software company to an enterprise solution and was instrumental in the successful acquisition of Crystal Decisions by Business Objects.

James Thomas brings over 15 years of international experience in product marketing, product management, field and channel marketing, public relations, analyst relations, and investor relations for small and large corporations.
“I like the fact that what we do here at Talent Technology directly affects people’s lives, their families’, and the world we live in. The fact is, the way people find jobs and the way organizations hire is broken. Either thousands of applicants pour into an impersonal selection process to compete for a single job, or the best candidate for a role never discover the opportunity. The recruiter and hiring manager are often completely overwhelmed, but still can't find the right candidate. Filling positions has become about sorting through the stack, not finding the best match, and that is a shame. I believe there is nothing more rewarding for an employee or an organization than to have the right person in the right job. At Talent Technology, I see a way to fix the broken process of hiring with smart technology that understands what the recruiter and organization are trying to do and helps improve the process. And, if you can make it so candidates are connected to the jobs that they are best at then everyone wins. And that is a problem worth fixing,” says James.
Prior to joining Talent Technology, James was the VP of Product Marketing for the Business Intelligence and Enterprise Information Management product lines at SAP AG. James was a key contributor to numerous growth initiatives at Crystal Decisions including new product rollout, competitive replacement programs, brand support, and market awareness activities through press, analysts, and investors. He was instrumental in the successful acquisition of Crystal Decisions by Business Objects driving complex pricing integration, product roadmap creation and delivery, and sales and customer education, and identifying solutions and go to market programs targeting mid-market organizations. After the acquisition of Business Objects by SAP, James drove numerous strategic projects including the general manager of the Crystal Reports and Xcelsius businesses, executing agreements with key technology partners, supporting new pricing, packaging, and go to market for new Software as a Service offerings, and developing messaging and go to market plans for several major product releases. James holds a commerce degree from the University of Victoria.

“I enjoy bringing solutions to organizations that truly address real needs. When I think about the amount of time that recruiters spend on repetitive tasks around posting ads, searching job boards for candidates, and researching prospective candidates I have to ask myself, ‘why?’ If we can implement intelligent tools to manage our business reporting, customer relationships, and resource planning, why can’t we do the same for recruiting? When I look at Talent Technology’s recruiting tools I think this is a suite of tools that address a real problem. It’s a ‘must-have’ for modern recruiters. And that is something I can really get behind. Further, Talent Technology is well positioned for significant growth and I am excited to be a part of that success,” says Tim.
